If you find yourself pressured with time, relax in a hot bath with some lavender bath salts. The hot water and soothing aroma will loosen up your muscles and clear your mind. Do not starve yourself or pursue a crash diet. Follow a moderate weight-loss program that won’t affect your strength or get you grumpy. Caffeine also irritates your nervous system and you don’t need to add more stress to your day. So avoid it while planning your wedding. With all the wedding jitters, it’s highly likely that you are finding it hard to sleep, especially with all the different ideas running through your head as you lie in bed. However, sleep deprivation can make you very irritable so it’s crucial to get a good night’s sleep. Try reading a book, watching your favorite movie or going for a walk while listening to music. Try to lighten up your mood and anxiety by talking to a relative or friend. Letting your feelings and emotions out and knowing that there is someone ready to listen and support you will take the burden off of your shoulders. Remember if you are not physically and emotionally prepared than all plans and preparations become useless. There is no shame in putting yourself at the top of the “take care of” list.
